every morning i wake up to it
the puddle of water on the bathroom floor
it seems we have a leaky toilet and for some reason we can’t get it fixed.
this means that every morning while alternating from one bathroom to the other (dilemma: one bathroom has a working sink & toilet, other bathroom has only mirror), i have to remember to step over the water in order to avoid getting my precious, wrinkle-free, navy blue uniform pants damp.
I can see it now, the toilet leak is fixed and I’m still doing the step-over dance from weeks long gone.
